Rafaela is a city in the province of Santa Fe, Argentina, about 96 km from the provincial capital. It is the head town of the Castellanos Department. It has a population of 83,642 per the 2001 census [INDEC].

The town was established in 1881 by Guillermo Lehmann, and officially became a city in 1913. Rafaela is served by Rafaela Aerodrome with daily flights to Aeroparque Jorge Newbery (in Buenos Aires) and Sauce Viejo Airport (in Santa Fe).
