The Publications Office of the European Union (Publications Office) is an inter-institutional service of the European Union, though often incorrectly referred to as a Directorate-General of the European Commission.

The Publications Office produces and distributes official and general publications for European Union bodies. There is completely free access to European Union law on the EUR-Lex website, and the vast majority of the publications on the website EU Bookshop can be ordered free of charge and available as freely-downloadable PDF documents.
