Providence Senior High School is located in Charlotte, North Carolina, and is part of the Charlotte Mecklenburg School District. Providence opened in 1989 off of Pineville-Matthews Road. The school added an expansion to its east wing in the early 1990s. The school serves southern and southeastern Mecklenburg County. Its mascot is the Panther and its colors are black and gold.
