Pringles Park is a 6,000 seat minor league baseball stadium located in Jackson, Tennessee. It opened in 1998. Pringles Park was built by the municipal government of Jackson, Tennessee and is the home of the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx of the Southern League. The Jaxx are the Class AA affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. The stadium is located east of downtown Jackson and is visible from Interstate 40. Its name derives from the sale of naming rights to Procter & Gamble for its Pringles Potato Chips product, which is manufactured in Jackson. Pringles Park has become the source of much controversy in Jackson as of late, as the agreement for the Diamond Jaxx team to occupy the park expired at the end of the 2005 season. The team considered a move to South Carolina after the 2005 season, citing financial problems, but later signed a three-year lease to play at the park through the 2008 season. [edit] External links
