Prakash Amritraj (born October 2, 1983 in California) is a professional tennis player. He turned professional in 2003 after winning the National Championships at the University of Southern California.
[edit] BackgroundAmritaj is the son of Vijay Amritraj, who played at Wimbledon for 17 years and in the Davis Cup for 20 years, and the cousin of Stephen Amritraj, whose father was also a professional player. He also has one brother, Vikram who was born in 1988. He is a non-resident Indian who represents India in tournaments and the Davis Cup. He played tennis for the University of Southern California where he majored in business.
