Porto Canal:
Porto Canal (Oporto Channel) is a metropolitan television station for Greater Porto, Portugal based in Matosinhos. It has rapidly taken a hold of late night ratings, due to its programming being extremley rich in unintentional humor. Launched on September 29, 2006, it is the third regional network launched in the region, but only another network is on air (Região Norte TV), due to the transformation of former NTV (from Porto TV, based in Vila Nova de Gaia) into RTPN, Radiotelevisão Portuguesa's news channel, but unlike NTV, Porto Canal only focus on the 14 municipalities of Porto Metropolitan area and not all the northern part of the country. Porto Canal is only available in the cable and satellite package of TV Cabo.
