Pietersburg International Airport or Polokwane International Airport (IATA: PTG, ICAO: FAPP) is an airport serving the city of Polokwane (known until 2005 as Pietersburg) in the South African province of Limpopo. Also known as Gateway Airport, it is located 5 km north of the city.^[2] The airport opened in 1996 on the site of a former Air Force Base.^[3]

The airport has scheduled flights to Johannesburg, with four flights on weekdays, one flight on Saturday and two on Sunday.^[4] It handles approximately 5,000 aircraft and 38,000 passengers per year.^[3]
