Phil Ford (nicknamed The Rubber Man for his elusive running style) is a former rugby league footballer. He played at wing / full-back for Great Britain and Wales, playing for five clubs: Warrington, Wigan, Bradford Northern, Leeds RLFC and Salford.

He was a member of the Great Britain team that won the third Test in Australia in 1988. It was their first win against the Kanagaroos since the second Test at Odsal in 1978.

Ford signed professional from Welsh Rugby Union with Warrington.

Following his League career he returned to live in Cardiff and played for Rumney RUFC.

His brother Steve Ford was a Welsh Rugby Union international who was suspended for a while for playing a trial with Leeds Rugby League club
