Peter Funt is the son of Candid Camera creator Allen Funt. He is also the producer and the host of the show since 1998. He has also written numerous articles for the New York Times and TV Guide. He is married to Amy Funt who serves on the Carmel Unified School District Board of Education. He has two children, Stephanie who attends Wheaton College in Norton, MA and Daniel who attends Carmel High School.
