Byaruhanga played for the UAB Blazers in the 1998 and 1999 seasons.^[3]

Byaruhanga was attached to the Kansas City Wizards of Major League Soccer in the 2000 and 2001 seasons, making six appearances.^[4] Byaruhanga also made one appearance for the Carolina Dynamo of the USL D3-Pro League in the 2002 season.^[2]
