Pennington-Grimes Elementary School is an primary school located in Mount Vernon, New York which educates students in kindergarten through 6th grade. As of 2006, the school principal is Ms. Danielle Davis. Approximately 400 students enroll in the school each year. The ethnic makeup of the school is 57% African American, 29% Caucasian, 11% Hispanic and 3% Asian/Pacific Islander.
