Pavillions of Troy is an approved proposed open-air shopping mall, office center, and residential area in the Metro Detroit suburb of Troy, Michigan, United States.[1][2] The award winning Pavilions of Troy was designed by Carl F. Meyer, a principal and managing director of Rossetti architects and a faculty member at the University of Southern California's School of Policy Planning and Development.[3]

The Pavilions of Troy would create an open air town square for the city. Approved for construction by the city of Troy on the former K-Mart headquarters complex, the Pavillions of Troy is estimated to be a $320 M to $380 M development with 500,000 square feet of retail, 300,000 square feet of office space, 750 residential units, a 250 room hotel, and a 3,000 seat theatre on a 40 acre site adjacent to Somerset Collection.[2] As of March 19, 2009, legislation granting redevelopment tax credit status to the project has been approved unamimously by the State Senate and awaits approval by the House.[1][4]

However, as of October 2009, the former headquarters of Kmart corporation has not been cleared to make way for this project.
