Paul Rabil (b. December 14, 1985, Gaithersburg, Maryland), and went to DeMatha Catholic High School, is a professional lacrosse player with the Washington Stealth of the National Lacrosse League and the Boston Cannons of Major League Lacrosse. Rabil played his collegiate lacrosse at the Johns Hopkins University.[1]

Rabil was a member of the 2005 and the 2007 NCAA Championship winning Blue Jay teams. [2][3] Rabil was awarded the 2007 McLaughlin Award given to the nation's most outstanding NCAA lacrosse midfielder.[4] Rabil was selected, as one of the five finalists for the 2007 and 2008 Tewaaraton Trophy, awarded to the "Most Outstanding" collegiate lacrosse player in the United States.[5] During the 2007 season, Rabil scored two game winning goals, one against Princeton, the other against University of Maryland.

In 2008, Rabil scored six goals and recorded one assist in a losing effort against Syracuse in the 2008 National Championship game.[6]

Two days later, Rabil was selected 1st overall by the Boston Cannons in the 2008 Major League Lacrosse Collegiate Draft.[7] Paul Rabil was drafted 2nd overall in the National Lacrosse League entry draft on September 6 in Boston. In 2009, Rabil was named the MLL MVP and MLL Offensive Player of the Year. Also, Rabil holds the world record for fastest shot, clocking in at 111 MPH.
