Patricia Margot McClain (born May 3, 1954 in Long Beach, California) is an American model. She was Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month for its May 1976 issue. Her centerfold was photographed by Ken Marcus. Before she was a Playmate, Patricia was the subject of one of the most controversial covers in Playboy history. On the front of the November 1975 issue, she was depicted in a movie theater clad in just an open top (exposing her breasts) and a pair of panties, with her right hand reaching under her underwear. The cover is seen by many as a watershed moment in the life of Playboy - the point where the increasingly explicit nature of the covers hit a barrier and retreated back into what could be considered PG-13 territory. Patricia has aspirations to be an actress, but went into sales for various businesses, including a termite extermination company and a radio station in Ventura County, California. In 1999 she was reported to be entering the Republican primary for the California 23rd Congressional district for the following year, but did not figure on the final ballot.
