Pacific Cycle, Inc. is a major bicycle distributor founded in 1977 and headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin USA. The company distributes several bicycle brands made in Taiwan or the People's Republic of China, including DYNO, GT, InSTEP, Huffy, Mongoose, Murray, Pacific Outdoors, Powerlite, Roadmaster, and Schwinn.^[1] Its bicycles are sold by Independent Bicycle Dealers (IBD) a.k.a. Local Bike Shops and at mass merchandisers such as Target, Wal-Mart, and The Sports Authority.

The company's headquarters are in Madison, with corporate branch offices in Olney, Illinois and Lake Forest, California. It has distribution centers in Olney, IL, Vacaville, CA and Rancho Cucamonga, California. A design and test center in Longmont, Colorado also exists.

In 2004 Pacific Cycle was acquired by Dorel Industries from private equity firm Wind Point Partners. In June of 2008, Pacific Cycle acquired the assests of PTI Sports, a leading U.S. designer, manufacturer and distribution of bicycle parts, helmets and other accessories.^[2]
