OrgSync is a privately-held, self-funded hosted service started in Eric Fortenberry's Dallas apartment in October 2006, and relocated to the Silicon Hills of Austin, TX in May 2007.^{[citation needed]}

OrgSync is an online management tool used by over 100 colleges and universities to manage students and student organizations.^{[citation needed]}

OrgSync strives to play an active role in the Austin, TX and higher education communities. Most recently it sponsored ^[1][2] and raised over [$1500 using social media]OrgSync Blog to build wells for clean drinking water.
