The Olympic Lottery Distributor is a Non-departmental public body in the United Kingdom set up by Parliament to use money raised by the National Lottery to fund the London Olympic Games and Paralympic Games in 2012. The OLD has a close working relationship with other organisations committed to the successful delivery of the London 2012 Games including the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) and the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Parlaympic Games (LOCOG) and also with its sponsor department the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.
