Olga Appell (born August 2, 1963 in Durango) is a retired track and field athlete from Mexico, best known for winning the gold medal in the women's marathon at the 1991 Pan American Games in Havana, Cuba. She competed for Mexico until February 25, 1994, and represented the United States at the 1996 Summer Olympics. There she was eliminated in the qualifying heats of the women's 10.000 metres event.

Born Olga Avalos, she met her future husband, Brian Appell, at the Durango bank where she worked as a teller. She won her first race as an American, the Los Angeles Marathon, in her fastest time, 2:28:12. The same year (1994) she won her first U.S. national championship in the women's 10.000 metres in Knoxville.
