No Mercy (2002) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) that took place on October 20, 2002, at the Alltel Arena in North Little Rock, Arkansas. It was the fifth annual WWE No Mercy event and featured wrestlers from the Raw and SmackDown! brand.[1]

Eight professional wrestling matches were scheduled for the event which featured a supercard, a scheduling of more than one main bout. The first match from the SmackDown! brand featured WWE Champion Brock Lesnar defeat The Undertaker in a Hell in a Cell match to retain the title.[2] The other match from the Raw brand was a title unification match, where World Heavyweight Champion Triple H defeated WWE Intercontinental Champion Kane to unify both titles.[3] There were four featured matches on the undercard. The first featured WWE Women's Champion Trish Stratus defeat Victoria to retain the title. The next match saw Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit become the first ever WWE Tag Team Champions by defeating Rey Mysterio and Edge.[4]
