Ninoska Pérez Castellón (born Lucrecia Ninoska Perez Castellon on 15 March 1950 in Havana, Cuba) is a leading member of the Cuban exile community and opponent of the Castro brothers. She is a notable Spanish radio talk show host and political commentator who has appeared on The O'Reilly Factor on numerous occasions. She is also an occasional columnist for the Miami Herald. She was one of the founding member of the Cuban Liberty Council. She married on September 26, 1987 to former Cuban political prisoner, Roberto Martin Perez (born 11 August 1934). [edit] BackgroundNinoska was born in Havana, Cuba on March 15, 1950. Her family was forced to leave the island following the triumph of the Cuban Revolution in 1959. Ever since, she has resided in Miami where she has played an active role in promoting a democratic transition in Cuba. She married on September 26, 1987 to former Cuban political prisoner, Roberto Martin Perez (born 11 August 1934). She is a graduate of Miami-Dade College and the University of Miami. She is host of Ultima Palabra, a political show at WGEN-TV channel 8 -Miami. She also is a radio host at WAQI-AM (710). UNIVISION-RADIO MIAMI. [edit] Community InvolvementIn December of 2008, David Parker, the Chair of the Florida International University Board of Trustees, sent out an e-mail to the University Community regarding the creation of a Committee to find a replacement for outgoing University President, Modesto Maidique.
