A public NZ Tertiary Education Institution. Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology main campuses are in Nelson and Blenheim, South Island, New Zealand.

Located at the top of New Zealand's South Island, NMIT [2] focuses on serving the fast-growing areas of Nelson, Tasman and Marlborough. The Institute has been providing high quality tertiary education in the Nelson-Marlborough region for the last 100 years. NMIT prides itself on the quality of its staff, its courses [3] and its campuses [4], but most of all on the success of its graduates.

The region's diverse economy includes New Zealand's largest concentration of fisheries, wine and aquaculture. It also has substantial foresty, horticulture, aviation, tourism and arts industries as well as a sizable conservation estate, including three national parks. NMIT has developed programmes that sustain the region's infrastructure as well as specialised programmes in niche areas.
