The National White Collar Crime Center also known as NW3C is a congressionally funded non-profit corporation that trains state and local law enforcement agencies in how to combat emerging economic and cyber crime problems. NW3C provides information and research to the general public in the prevention of economic and cyber crime. In their partnership^{[clarification needed]} with the Internet Crime Complaint Center, NW3C assists Internet crime victims by relaying their reports to the appropriate authorities at local, state, and federal levels.^[1]
