The National Technological University (Spanish: Universidad Tecnológica Nacional, UTN) is a National University of Argentina, which specializes in the teaching of engineering and hard sciences. Hosting over 75,000 students, its student body is comparable to Argentina's third-largest university (the National University of La Plata) and exceeded significantly only by the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) (over 300,000 students). Its 29 branches are located around the country. The engineering courses taught in most of those locations are:

Students completing a five calendar-year program (typically after passing 45 final exams) earn an engineering degree. It is going through a modernization of analytic programs ("adecuación curricular"), and some careers have passed through a certification process ordered by the government.

It is the only public university in the country with such a strong focus on engineering. Almost every academic offer ends in an Engineer degree. Many of the offered careers have an intermediate diploma. The University also offers a broad range of courses at the post graduate level , leading to the titles of Specialist, Master and Doctor (PhD).

It provides almost 50% of the young engineers in Argentina, and projections indicate that this trend will reach 75% by 2010-2012. Due to its strongly federal approach, it is the only University with a physical presence across the country.

In 2004, UTN had twenty-four thousand students in information systems engineering.

Research and Development is represented by 16 official centers. Some of the areas these centers specializes are: Chemical Engineering, Information Technology, Energy and Environment, Robotics, Mechanics and Construction.
