Nancy Loo (1965 -) is an American television newscaster. The news anchor was born in Hong Kong. Nancy worked for WABC-TV in 1994 as a health reporter. Nancy was promoted to Eyewitness News morning and noon co-anchor in 1996 and anchored first with Harry Martin. Robb Hanrahan became her next co-anchor and David Ushery was her third co-anchor at WABC-TV. During her tenure at Eyewitness News, she also went into labor on air with her second child and has won local emmys. Despite the emmys, Nancy was still dropped from the morning show in 2000 and from the noon show and the station in 2001. Prior to joining WABC-TV, worked in many different parts of the world bringing worldwide experience to where she worked. After she left WABC-TV in New York, she joined WFLD-TV Channel 32, the Fox station in Chicago. There, she anchors the morning news from 5 A.M. to 6 A.M and the 12:00 P.M. news. She speaks fluent Cantonese and still is active in helping the Asian community in Chicago. [edit] External links |
