The Great Machine is a giant underground structure, located beneath the surface of the planet Epsilon III.

The Chrysalis Device has the ability to transform one species into another by altering the subject's DNA.

The Triluminary is a holy relic of the Mimbari religious cast. The devise was part of Sinclair's comlink with was keyed to his DNA. Sinclair later becomes Valin when he takes Babylon 4 into the past during the last great war with the Shadows. The triluminary lights up when a descendant of Valin's bloodline is near it, by the time of Babylon 5 few knew of this, thus in the earth mimbari war is how the war ended when a captive Sinclair lit up the triluminary leaving other mimbari to believe that he had a mimbari soul, thus ending the war.

A device used for corporal punishment by an unknown alien race, it transfers life energy from one person to another, the more sever the injury the more life energy it takes to heal the subject.
