My Boyfriend's Back is a 1993 comedy film.

The film is about a teenage boy, Johnny Dingle, who dies but comes back from the dead as a zombie after the teenage girl he's in love with, Missy McCloud, promises him a date.

The title is a reference to a song of the same name from 1963 by The Angels. The film was directed by Bob Balaban.

Philip Seymour Hoffman, Matthew McConaughey and Matthew Fox all play small roles in the film.

• The band Evanescence used some quotes from My Boyfriend's Back in an outtake clip of Anywhere (Track 0 on Origin), and the unabridged version of Ascension of the Spirit (Track 6 on Whisper EP, track must be more than eleven minutes in order to work).

The original title of the film was 'Johnny Zombie' and was changed shortly before the film's theatrical release.
