Moesha Denise Mitchell is a fictional character on the television show Moesha played by Brandy Norwood.

Moesha Mitchell was born in Los Angeles in 1981. Like many teens, Moesha's trying to find her place in life. At every turn, Moesha, along with her friends and family, experience new challenges and hilarious situations associated with the pressures and demands of growing up in an often confusing world.

One of Moesha's longest friendships is Kim Parker. Moesha and Kim have been best friends since they were kids in preschool. Kim was closer to Moesha more than any of Moesha's other friends. When Moesha, Kim, and Hakeem were younger they played a joke on their teacher which led their teacher to the emergency room. Even when Kim goes to a different college than Moesha does. Kim manage to stay in touch with Moesha even though she is at a different colleges.

Moesha's other longest childhood friend includes Hakeem Campbell. Hakeem was not only Moesha's friend Hakeem was also the Mitchell's house guest,Hakeem stayed at the Mitchell's house for breakfast, dinner, and desert almost anything they ate he ate also. Moesha and Hakeem were very close even close enough to form a couples relationship. Moesha and Hakeem had become a couple which is surprising because Kim broke her friendship off with Stevie when Hakeem and Stevie were dating but Kim didn't break her friendship off with Moesha when Hakeem and Moesha were dating,Kim wanted to date Hakeem since she met him. Hakeem has a mother that is very serious about anything Hakeem does or any of Hakeem does.

Moesha's other friend named Niecy is very smart and bright. In the beginning of the series she is just like Kim checking out every guy that passes her. Niecy is also seen arguing with Alicia just like Moesha does when her and Moesha moves into their college dorm. Niecy is also known to be very sexual activity at times.

Moesha's oldest friend is Andell who owns Moesha and her friends' favorite hangout "The Den". Andell helps Moesha and her friends out when she can at times. At the end of the fifth season Andell closed the den and opens up her own restaurant/bar named after her.

During the series Moesha's biggest love spouse is Q. Moesha and Q were together on/off throughout the series. Moesha and Q became engage until Q wanted to pawn off the engagement ring and when Moesha refused to give up the ring, Q got upset and didn't want Moesha to help him out at all, and Moesha decided that she could do better than Q and broke up with him.

The other guy Moesha fell for would be her long time best friend Hakeem. Hakeem and Moesha were also on/off together towards the end of the series. When Moesha told Hakeem she broke up with Q, Hakeem was excited to find out this news. Moesha and Hakeem continued to be a couple till the end of the series.

[edit] Struggles with Dee

Over the years Moesha and Dee were known to also bump heads over the series. The first episode of Moesha, Dee and Moesha argue over a lot of things like when Dee grounded Moesha,Moesha decided to defy Dee and do what she pleases. Moesha argues with Dee's decision to sell the furniture and Moesha wanted to keep the furniture because it was the only thing that reminded Moesha of her mother. Even though Moesha and Dee fuss and fight all the time they also have had some good times together.

Since Moesha is the oldest sister to Myles, Myles loves to pull pranks on Moesha and her friends. Myles usually did anything he could to get into Moesha's business. When Myles goes to spend some time with Moesha at college Myles develops a hugh crush on Alicia and it really frustrated Moesha but in the end Myles and Moesha comes up with a plan to upset Alicia and Moesha was happy to have the old Myles back.

[edit] Discovering The Family Secret

When Moesha found out that her father cheated on her mother she was upset she was even more disappointed,upset,and unhappy when she found out that not only did her father not only cheated but he fathered to another child named Dorian, who everybody thought that Dorian was Frank's nephew until it was revealed that Dorian was Frank's son. When Dorian wanted to find out who was his birth mother Moesha helped him. When Moesha and Dorian finally tracked down Dorian's birth mother she told Moesha and Dorian that when Moesha's mother found out about the affair she left the house but, Moesha refused to believe that then it is later confirmed by Frank that it was true.

[edit] Moving Out

When Moesha found out about the affair between Frank and Dorian's birth mother and Dorian's true existest, Moesha moved out when she got into college. Moesha moved into a on campus dorm along with Niecy. When Moesha moved into an on-campus dorm Hakeem and Nicey moved into a campus dorm also.And that when Hakeem and Moesha fall in love after knowing each other for 17 years.

[edit] Feuding with Alicia

When Moesha and Niecy move into a campus dorm they met Alicia and they didn't really get along with her at all. In fact when Myles developed a crush on Alicia, Moesha threatened to straggle Alicia by her neck. Alicia would often disrespect and call Moesha and Niecy names time to time. Alicia even called Moesha by the name of Ho-esha. Alicia even disrespected Moesha and Niecy's friends when they came over to visit them.

[edit] Possible Pregnancy

In the series finale there was a pregnancy test found in Moesha's dorm. Since the series was canceled it wasn't really explained who was pregnant. Moesha could have been pregnant because Hakeem and Moesha had to tell Frank something and Moesha fainted in the series finale. It could have been Niecy that was pregnant because she has been having "Mood Swings" ever since she was a child. It could also may have been Alicia that was pregnant because she has been eating a lot.

Moesha has had many boyfriends but Hakeem Campbell, her best friend, ended up being her last boyfriend also.
