• Steyr AUG A1 5.56mm assault rifle (standard personal weapon)
• H&K USP 9mm pistol (side arm)
• Diemaco M203A1 40mm grenade launcher (2 per infantry section)
• FN MAG 7.62mm General Purpose Machine Gun (new version with M1913 rails in service 2007)
• Denel Vektor M1 60 mm Mortar
• Bofors Defence AT-4 84mm Short Range Anti Armour Weapon (SRAAW)
• M72 High Explosive Fragmentation Grenade
• Smoke grenade 40mm

Note: Special Forces have access to a wide variety of specialist weapons for use in green and black operations role
