The Ministry of the Interior is the Interior Ministry of Kingdom of Cambodia. The ministry has a broad mandate and is responsible for public administration throughout Cambodia's 24 provinces and municipalities and for the governance of the Cambodian National Police and other administrations of law enforcement, including police training, judicial police, anti-drug efforts, border police and prison administration. The Ministry liases with ASEAN law enforcement offices and with Interpol. [1]

The current Minister of Interior (2008) is His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister Sar Kheng. He is assisted by 6 secretaries of state and 4 under-secretaries of state.[2]
