The band released their debut single, "Left My Heart in Tokyo" on 6 September 2009. "Left My Heart in Tokyo" was produced by UK pop songwriting production house Xenomania, who have previously worked with Girls Aloud, Sugababes, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Cher, Gabriella Cilmi and Kylie Minogue. The Guardian featured Mini Viva as "New Band of the Day" on 17 July 2009,[1] and music magazine NME called their debut single "The Catchiest Single of 2009."[2]

Mini Viva supported The Saturdays on their The Work Tour in 2009.[3]

Their debut album for which the title has not yet been announced is mostly going to be handled by Xenomania. Its release date is yet to be confirmed (according to Play.com).[4]

On the 13th December, On BBC Radio 1's Chart Show with Scott Mills, they revealed they are inspired by Rihanna and Lady GaGa and had bought their latest albums, Rated R and The Fame Monster.

Mini Viva produced their latest single "I Wish" which was released in December 2009. The song entered the UK Singles Chart at number 73 and stayed in the Top 100 for just one week.

DigitalSpy confirmed the third single will be called "Colloquial Obsession" and will be released in March 2010.[5]
