Military brat is a term used in several countries, generally to describe the children of active military personnel. Its use has been documented in Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand and the United States. Most research has centered on the U.S. subculture of military brats. Many military brats are unable to identify where they belong and frequently feel like outsiders. ^[1]
