Michael Tejera (born October 18, 1976 in Havana, Cuba) is a Major League Baseball pitcher in the Cleveland Indians organization. [edit] Playoff appearancesTejera made two playoff appearances in 2003, both in the NLCS vs. Chicago Cubs, and went 0-1 with a 6.75 ERA and a .333 opponent batting average in 1.1 innings pitched on October 8 at Wrigley Field in which he gave up one hit in 1.2 innings pitched with 1 strikeout to add to his credits. Unfortunately, the one hit was to John Mabry, which was a home run. In the 2003 NLCS, some fans humorously remember Tejera for throwing a ball into the stands from the mound after a pitch slipped from his hand midway through his delivery. On July 10, 2009 Tejera Signed A Minor League Contract With The Cleveland Indians. [edit] External links
