Mermon Parwin (Persian:پروین), born as Khadidja Zia(i), daughter of Sardar Mohamamad Rahim Zia and Bibi Koh, was a Tajik singer of Afghanistan. In 1951, she was the first female singer of Afghanistan to sing live on Radio Afghanistan. Parwin supported the Afghanistan Scout Association, sang Scout songs and appeared several times in the pavilion of the Scout organization. |
