Mergued is non-profit organization that promotes the development of Morocco's rural areas through the creation of sustainable and environmental friendly business models. The organization is founded by Mohamed Cherqaoui, an agriculture expert who intentionally left everything behind to live among Morocco's rural people as a way to better understand their needs and advocate their cause to the public opinion in Morocco and the developed world.
