Men of a Certain Age is an American comedy-drama television series, which will premiere on TNT on Monday December 7th, 2009, at 10pm.^[1] The hour-long program will star Ray Romano, Scott Bakula, and Andre Braugher as three best friends in their forties dealing with the realities of middle age.

In March 2008, it was announced that TNT had ordered a pilot based on a script written by Ray Romano and Mike Royce.^[2]^[3] Both men had previously worked together on Everybody Loves Raymond. Andre Braugher and Scott Bakula were announced in June and July, respectively, to star in the series.^[4]^[5]^[6] In January 2009, TNT ordered 10 episodes of Men of a Certain Age.^[1]^[7] It will be Bakula's first series as a regular cast member since Star Trek: Enterprise, Braugher's first regular role since Hack ended in 2004, and Romano's first series since Everybody Loves Raymond wrapped in May 2005.

The series follows the bonds of friendship between three college friends – Joe, Owen and Terry – who are now in their 40s. Joe (Ray Romano) is a slightly neurotic divorced father of two (Brittany Curran as Lucy, and Braeden Lemasters as Albert) who hoped to become a pro golfer but now owns a party store. Owen (Andre Braugher) is an overstressed husband and father, who is a car salesman at his dad's dealership. Terry (Scott Bakula) is a struggling actor dating a much younger woman.
