Mauricio Romero Alvisu (born February 2, 1983 in León, Guanajuato) is a Mexican footballer currently playing for UANL Tigres. He has played for several teams including Atlas, Moreli and Atlante. He is well-known for his outstanding performance in the Primera Division A, having scored more than 40 goals in just 4 tournaments. Most fans agree that his best goal was a stunning acrobatic kick against Cruz Azul on August 2, 2008.
