Maurice DuBois (born August 20, 1965) is co-anchor of CBS2 News This Morning and CBS2 News at Noon with Kate Sullivan on WCBS-TV, CBS's flagship television station in New York. Previously he anchored CBS2 News at Noon with Cindy Hsu and CBS2 News at 6 with Dana Tyler at WCBS-TV He joined WCBS-TV in September 2004. Before working at Channel 2 he spent seven years as co-anchor of Today in New York on WNBC-TV. While at WNBC-TV, DuBois also hosted "Four Stories," a magazine featuring community heroes; he also hosted special programming for Court-TV called "Mind Over Media," for students to understand media images. In addition to WNBC, he worked as a substitute news anchor on The Today Show on NBC and substitute co-host and news anchor on the weekend editions of the Today Show on NBC. DuBois can be occasionally seen as a weekend fill-in anchor on the CBS Evening News.

DuBois' career started in 1987, when he worked as a desk assistant at KING-TV in Seattle, Washington while he was attending Northwestern University. Mr. DuBois came from WFLD-TV in Chicago, where he was an anchor and reporter from 1994. For four years, DuBois worked for KCRA-TV in Sacramento, California as an anchor and reporter.

DuBois' range of coverage includes local news, national political conventions, AIDS in South Africa, witnessing a double execution, the death of Pope John Paul II, and the installation of Pope Benedict XVI. He has won several journalism and community awards, including four Emmys, and a Trailblazer Award from the Associated Press and the Chicago and New York Associations of Black Journalists. He is involved in a wide range of community organizations, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Northside Center for Child Development.

In 2002, he received an honorary doctorate from Medgar Evers College, CUNY.

On April 2, 2008 at 12:57 PM, DuBois and his wife, Andrea DuBois, had their first child, Brandon James DuBois, weighing 6 lbs., 12 oz. He and his family live in Manhattan.
