Maurice Baker (born on July 28, 1979 in Granite City, Illinois) is an American professional basketball player formerly in the National Basketball Association, in the point guard position.

Having graduated from Oklahoma State University, Baker spent time in the NBA with the Los Angeles Clippers (one match) and the Portland Trail Blazers (four), on ten-day contracts in early 2005. He did not manage to score in 19 minutes of action.

From 2004 onwards, he played in the NBA Development League for the Dakota Wizards,^[1] being named to the 2009 NBDL All-Star Game on February 3, 2009 (the Wizards were previously part of the CBA). Additionally, Baker played overseas in Russia, Syria, Lithuania, France and Puerto Rico.
