Matthew Michael Ansara (August 29, 1965 – June 25, 2001) was an actor and bodybuilder, who was the only son of Barbara Eden, (star of I Dream of Jeannie) and her ex-husband Michael Ansara. His first acting job was when he was 15 years old, in the pilot episode of Harper Valley P.T.A.. His credits include Your Mother Wears Combat Boots, To Protect and Serve and Con Games. He is also noted for having done a commercial.

Matthew was found dead in his pickup truck, and toxicology tests later revealed that he died of an accidental heroin overdose.

He was divorced in 1995 from a two year marriage with Julie Ansara. Before he died, he was planning his second wedding with girlfriend Leanna Green on September 1, 2001. It is also known that he suffered from a depression disorder.
