Mate Peroš (born 5 February 1969 in Split), is the current chairman of Hajduk Split football club.

A lifelong supporter of Hajduk, Peroš graduated from the University of Split Faculty of Law in 1993 and in 1997 he became a practicing lawyer. In his youth he briefly played amateur football, playing for NK Solin and NK Sloga Mravince.

He became a card-carrying member of Hajduk in 2001 and two years later he became the club's official lawyer and then member of the club's managing board. In mid June 2008 he was elected to succeed Željko Jerkov as chairman of the club, amid the club's ownership reform which saw Hajduk float their shares on the stock market.
