Mark Nicoski (born 24 November 1983) is a professional Australian rules footballer who plays for the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League. He has been wearing the number 6 gurnsey from the start of the 2007 AFL season, after wearing number 31 throughout his early career with the Eagles.

In 2004 he suffered a shoulder injury which proved a setback after being recruited to the Eagles after a WAFL rookie of the year performance in 2003.

In 2005 Nicoski became a damaging midfield and forward player, using his pace to trouble opponents and enjoyed a solid 2005 AFL Finals Series.

[edit] 2006 Season

With many Eagles players being rotated in and out of the forward line due to the loss of Phillip Matera, Nicoski was thrown in as a half-back, where he continues to shine with his quickness on and off the back and his booming left kick. Although he had recovered from an injury, Nicoski was unlucky to miss out in the 2006 Grand Final, won by his team the West Coast Eagles.

Mark has not been able to recapture his 2006 form, after coming back from a horror run of injuries which ruined his 2007 season.

During the season Mark moved to East Perth where he currently resides with his long time partner Sharon.
