Maria Larsson (born 20 January 1956) is Swedish politician and a member of the Christian Democratic Party (since 2003 deputy chairman). She is a trained schoolteacher, and is married with three children. She has been a Member of Parliament since 1998 representing Jönköping County, and vice party leader of the Christian Democrat Party since 2003. On 6 October 2006 she was selected to become Minister for Public Health and Social Services in the Cabinet of Fredrik Reinfeldt.[1] [edit] References
