Maria LaRosa is the weekday morning and noon meteorologist for KYW-TV in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. LaRosa has her National Weather Association and American Meteorological Society (AMS) seals of approval in addition to being an AMS Certified Broadcast Meteorologist.

La Rosa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology from Penn State University. She was also a teaching assistant for the University's introductory meteorology course before graduating in 1998. Born in New York State, LaRosa grew up in New Jersey and still considers the Garden State her home. She joined CBS3 in June 2004 from WXIX, the FOX station in Cincinnati. She lives in southern New Jersey with her husband Mariusz Kolakowski. The couple has two sons: Michael (born in 2005), Justin (born in 2008) and is expecting a third child in early 2010.
