Marcos Álvarez (born 24 April 1971 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain) is a Spanish football coach.

He is a former first team coach of Tottenham Hotspur, who worked primarily on the squad's fitness. Álvarez arrived at Tottenham with Juande Ramos from Sevilla, where he held a similar position, on 7 October 2007. However he was sacked along with Ramos, assistant manager Gus Poyet and sporting director Damien Comolli just over 12 months later on 25 October 2008 after Spurs worst ever start to a league campaign.^[1]
