Mansfield Chell Wrotto, Jr. (pronounced /ˈrɒtoʊ/)[1] (born October 12, 1984) is an American football Offensive Lineman for the Seattle Seahawks. He played college football for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. The pick the Seahawks used on him was obtained from the San Francisco 49ers for wide receiver Darrell Jackson.
[edit] Pro careerWrotto was drafted by the Seahawks in the fourth round of the 2007 NFL Draft, 124th overall. He was the first Georgia Tech player taken by Seattle in the draft since 1999 (Charlie Rogers). Though he played offensive tackle in college, he switched to guard in the pros. [edit] College careerWrotto played defensive tackle for three years, before moving to offensive tackle in his senior year. In his four seasons at Georgia Tech, he only missed five games. He played in the Senior Bowl. [edit] Personal lifeWrotto graduated from Brookwood High School in snellville, Ga, and then went on to attend Georgia Tech. At Georgia Tech he majored in management.
