The City Hall of Manila, is one of the most distinctive landmarks of the city. The City Hall is open in public 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday^[1]. The City Hall got negative reviews on the early days because of its lack of architectural design, absence of the entrance and random placement of the clock tower. To date, many people praise the City Hall and its design for the same reason the complex vilified^[1]. The building proper has a shape similar to a coffin or in the other hand, it is like a shield of a knight templar, only it just lack symmetry.and regularity. Various services are offered by the government including several which can be access at the city hall^[2]. Several places near the City Hall are mostly landmarks and luxurious hotels. The Clock Tower is Illuminated by lights at night. On April 15, an authority had held bomb threat over the city hall.^[3] This event leads to maximizing the security in the complex^[3].

The clock tower became a distinctive trademark of the city and the city hall. Every hour the bell sounds thrice and would play a melody. During nighttime, the tower is greatly visible as it was illuminated by lights at night. Manila had been known not just of its Rizal Park, but of the city hall. The city hall was recognized for its clock tower, whom hold the title as the biggest clock (tower) in the Philippines.
