Makroudh is a type of pastry eaten in parts of Tunisia and Algeria. Makroudh are often filled with Dates or Almonds. ^[1]

Kairouan in Tunisia is noted for its Makroudh and Zlebia pastries which are a speciality at the World Heritage Site.
