Makali Aizue (born 30 December, 1977 in Goroka, Papua New Guinea) is a Papua New Guinean rugby league player who recently signed for Cooperative Championship club Halifax RLFC after plying his trade in Super League for Hull KR for many years.
[edit] Club career[edit] Hull Kingston RoversAizue stated that he joined the club because "my good friend Stanley Gene said it's a great club and he was not wrong." [edit] Representative career[edit] Papua New GuineaHe was selected in the Papua New Guinean national rugby league team for their 2000 Rugby League World Cup campaign. He has been named in the Papua New Guinea training squad for the 2008 Rugby League World Cup.[1] He has been named in the PNG squad for the 2008 Rugby League World Cup.[2] Aizue has also represented Papua New Guinea in rugby union in the past.[3] [edit] References
