[edit] Maaz Moeed(Maaz Moeed - معاذ معيد) whose full name is Maaz Abdul Moeed Siddiqui is a Pakistani playback singer. 'Lab-e-Darya' was the first drama Serial of Maaz as a playback singer, which was televised in 2003. Music Director Niaz Ahmed introduced him as a playback singer. One of the popular ghazal from the Drama was "Chand Nikle Kisi Jaanib Teri Zebai Ka". 'Aaja' is his debut album. It was released in April 2008 under the CD-Bank label of Pakistan. The video of song "Aaja" was also televised at that period. In 2005 Moeed got a title of "King of Pakistani Underground Music" [edit] HistoryMaaz Moeed was born in Karachi. He is a Business Administration graduate. Maaz wrote and composed his first song at 13 "Pucho Hum Se Kiya Kiya Hum Ne Kesey Dukh Dekhey Hain" and at 16, Maaz Moeed was invited to perform in Singing Competition Show on Pakistan Television Karachi Centre in 1999 and he won first prize in that show. Maaz describes himself as a big fan of Jim Reeves, Cliff Richard, Elvis Presley, Don Williams, Andy Williams, Howard Keel, Manna Dey, Mohd Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Kumar Sanu, Sonu Nigam, Habib Wali Mohammad and Adnan Sami.
