The Maadiran group is an Iranian group of companies that handles the sales, support, and manufacturing of office equipment, banking, and electrical consumer products within Iran. The group is totally private and not connected with the Iranian government, or any Iranian NGOs, in any way. According to Iranian government ratings, based on multiple factors such as expertise, turnover, and capability, the Maadiran Group has been ranked as the number one IT company in Iran since 2003. It is currently regarded as the largest private electronics distributor within Iran with a distribution channel of over 1000 direct sales dealers and over 5000 sales sub-dealers. The group was established in 1962 and was formerly known as Iran Office Machines Company Ltd. It is an exclusive distributor for Sharp Corporation, LG Group, AOC, Olivetti, and Epson as well as a number of other brands. Maadiran also has several own brand product lines including a range of PC accessories (Brand name Meva) and a full range of CRT and LCD televisions (Brand name X-Vision). In 2004 the group began to export its locally manufactured products to the Middle East. This trend increased dramatically with in early 2005 when LG Electronics began to buy Iranian-produced LG-Maadiran monitors for its own exports to the Persian Gulf markets. Within Iran, Maadiran's after-sales support subsidiary, has 18 regional branches through which it provides support to the whole country of Iran. These 18 branches in turn support a larger network of over 350 authorised service dealers across the country which further enhance the companies support reach. Maadiran highly promotes its ability to have a technician at the customers premises, and solving any problem in under two hours of receiving a customer call. This level of service is unique to Maadiran within Iran. In mid 2008 a number of newspapers claimed that the average response time for Maadiran was actually one and half hours, however this was never substantiated.
[edit] History of FirstsMaadiran has always been at the forefront of the Iranian IT, OA, and Banking sectors. As such, it has accumulated a substantial amount of 'firsts': [edit] Maadiran LogoThe original Maadiran logo consisted of two bars with the company name written in both Persian and English in between them. In early 2009, the group refreshed its brand image by introducing a new look. In order to give the company a more fresh and youthful feeling, the updated brand made use of a bright red and white as the company's primary colors and dropped the traditional navy blue. The logo primarily appears as white on a red rectangle with two curved corners. Unlike before, where the Maadiran brand was used erratically, the new brand image was systematically planned and documented in a comprehensive manual in order to give it consistency across all medias and group divisions.
[edit] Company SloganSince 2003, the Group's slogan has been "Nemaad Etminaan" which translates to "Example of Reliability". This goes back to the core values of the Maadiran Group as an organization that provides, in its opinion, the best products, deliverability, and service to its customers. This is exemplified by its after-sales service which is unmatched in Iran. Previous to this the group carried no slogan. [edit] External links
